Full Day Church Wedding & Reception Photography | Sarah & Disraeli

Sarah and Disraeli booked the full day, and it turned into two celebrations in one, a traditional church ceremony followed by a reception built around family, music, and heritage.

The day started at church with a full mass. If you are planning a church wedding of your own, it is worth knowing that some churches place restrictions on where photographers and videographers can stand during the ceremony, often keeping vendors from crossing certain points near the altar. We were not able to cross the first pew for this ceremony, which meant working the angles we had rather than the ones we might have preferred. It is a good reason to ask your officiant ahead of time about any rules on movement or positioning, so your photography and video team knows exactly what to expect walking in.

This was also one of the days we brought both photo and video coverage together. Travis was on hand shooting the ceremony from three angles, building toward a thirty-minute wedding feature film the couple had booked as part of their package.

After the church ceremony, everyone moved to a barn venue in Dacono, Colorado. Sarah's Filipino heritage brought a strong musical thread to the celebration, with family members taking turns at karaoke and showing off genuinely beautiful voices throughout the night. The first dance stood out as one of the best moments of the reception, set inside a space that felt intimate despite the size of the celebration around it.
